Focused Learning Centers by Schoolhouse Teachers.com, a division of The Old Schoolhouse
Everybody needs a little extra help now and then, so if you are looking for help in a particular area�math, reading, special needs, foreign language, high school, college planning, or science�you have come to the right place. Our Focused Learning Centers will direct you to the courses, individual lessons, and articles that can assist you as you homeschool your children who may struggle in a certain subject or with a particular ability. You may even find new ways of presenting information that can facilitate their learning.
Food Hero
Food Hero is a nutrition program that serves impoverished communities. In addition to their public school programs, they offer free materials for youth and family nutrition information. On their website, you will find foods that are available in-season in our area, simple recipes to go along with them as well as recipes categorized by ingredient. Have you ever had a bag of beans in the cupboard you aren't sure what to do with? Food Hero to the rescue! They also have gardening tips, guides and plans.
Fun Schools Group (and Summer Homeschool Carnival)
Homeschool co-op that meets in various locations around the Rogue Valley twice a week (although many families opt in for one day a week) such as parks, river, museums, farms and more. They also host the annual homeschool carnival (see our events page for more info).
