The Children's Museum of Southern Oregon (Oregon Center for Creative Learning)

A center for creative learning: Our programs are designed to maximize learning and fun, while also helping to foster a love of exploration and creativity.

Welcome to the Oregon Center for Creative Learning, formerly known as Kid Time Children's Museum. Now, we have relocated to our long-term home at the historic Carnegie building and reemerged as the Oregon Center for Creative Learning. Our new facility includes three programs - The Children's Museum of Southern Oregon, The Ivy School, and the Roots Community Education - all designed to serve children, families, and the community. We're excited to continue inspiring creativity and learning in our new space.

Our Programs are part of the Roots Community Education at the Children's Museum. Our Programs are fun and engaging, but also focus on providing children with the necessary tools to learn, grow, and develop. We offer a full menu of well-balanced learning experiences that include art, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, STEAM skills, literacy, culinary skills, music and more! Our knowledgeable and caring staff strive to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for your child. See the calendar and join us to create your own learning experiences!

I visited the children’s museum and their annex last week and was blown away. It’s interesting to me that it’s called the museum. It’s nothing like a museum! It’s like my inner child came out walking through the doors! And the outside was just as phenomenal. But my favorite part was their annex. Clay studio and a culinary studio with classes all throughout the week for kids included In the membership!

I spoke with some of the leadership and they are really trying to get to know the homeschool community and figure out ways to serve you all better! And the best news yet is that they are hoping to expand to grants Pass. They would appreciate letters the interest letting them know what you’d like to see in Grants Pass.

If you have never been, I really encourage you to check it out! They are donating some free passes for our raffle at our back to school event on August 15.

Prices:

-Prices are for a family of four! And your family can be made up of any for individuals, not necessarily people you live with.

-Three month, six month and 12 month memberships give you unlimited access.

-If you have any type of public assistance, including OHP, WIC, or SNAP, you can get six month memberships for half-price!
