ABOUT KERRY: 

Kerry McDonald is a Senior Education Fellow at the Foundation for Economic Education, the host of the weekly LiberatED podcast, a Forbes contributor, and the author of Unschooled: Raising Curious, Well-Educated Children Outside the Conventional Classroom. She has been visiting regions across the country that have a high density of education entrepreneurs and sharing her findings through her podcast and through articles on Forbes. Her work has helped to elevate a large number of VELA grant recipients and you can see some examples below:

Kerry also recently completed a case study for VELA about the collaboration and community building that is happening between VELA grant recipients in two regions: Wichita, Kansas and South Florida.
